Confirmation – is the sacrament by which baptized persons receive the seal of the Holy Spirit, the Gift of the Father and Son. It is linked with the other two sacraments of initiation, Baptism and the Eucharist. In celebrating confirmation, we ask for the graces needed to live a mature Christian life and to deepen our faith.
Even though preparation for this sacrament is held in our catholic schools, there is a series of classes that we would like our youth to attend. The classes are prepared so that young people can better understand the meaning of the sacrament and better come to understand how the Holy Spirit works within the Church.
The registration for Confirmation Preparation Classes is held in September. For more information please contact the Parish office.
